Valhalla Knights 3 marks the return of the gritty action RPG series, now taking full advantage of the powerful PS Vita hardware to provide intense real-time battle and smooth seven-on-seven party-based combat. After creating a main character and field-worthy party members from one of seven races such as human, elf and beast with a myriad of customizable physical traits, each character is assigned a job class from the twenty available such as fighter, mage and priest. As battles are won each customized character earns various loot from the countless items, weapons and armor available, as well as skill points towards unlocking job-specific skills. Powerful pre-existing warriors can also be persuaded to join your battle party by showering them with gifts and creating a strong personal bond.
Characters are created from one of seven races such as human, elf, beast and nightmare, and after selecting the gender various other physical attributes such as facial features, hair style, skin color and tattoos can also be customized
Battle begins with players controlling one character of their party of up to 7 members while giving commands to allies, or switching control to others on the fly; Challenge other battle parties in versus mode using ad-hoc networking
Each of the twenty job classes such as fighter, mage, priest and akatoki have numerous skills to unlock, which become essential to complete the over 200 quests available as players try to earn more than 500 unique pieces of weapons, armor and special items
Players can bond with female shopkeepers and ladies of the entertainment district by talking to them and giving them gifts, and depending on the strength of the relationship, they might even be recruited to fight alongside players in battle
